"...happily ever after." Isn't this how all the great fairy tales and love stories end? Have you ever noticed, though, that those fairy tales end at the wedding? Maybe that's because even fairy tale authors know how difficult marriage can be. Well, today my parents are celebrating 30 years of marriage. While you may not think of that as "ever after", in a world full of marriages that last only a few years, I consider it a wonderful milestone! My parents love for each other is an example to anyone who has ever known them. Together, as a couple, they mirror the character of God in a way they would not be able to as individuals. No matter where you're at-single or married, happy or on the brink of divorce-know that there is at least one couple who has made it 30 years, through joy, pain, happy times & sad, tears and laugter! So-here's to you, Dad & Mom!
Okay, so I'm finally trying this. I've never blogged before, but have been encouraged to do so by a few friends recently.
Let me begin by introducing myself and my family. My husband & I are looking forward to celebrating our 10th anniversary this June. He makes me laugh more than anyone, and we have so much fun together.
We have 4 wonderful children... DinoDude is my oldest son who loves to read, play PokeMon, & wants to be a Paleontologist when he grows up.
KarateChopper is my second son who loves to make people laugh, enjoys playing with his best friend (his older brother), and loves karate (also with DinoDude).
PrincessLadybug is my only daughter, and she enjoys tea parties, dancing around the house, and playing with her brothers.
LittleBuddy is my baby who is not so much a baby as a toddler anymore! His personality is just really showing, and he enjoys trying to play whatever his older siblings are playing.
So-that's my family. I will post pics soon.-CrochetQueen
